Carve pumpkins
We’ve got one thing left on our fall bucket list! Sunday we took our annual Halloween costume photos, something I stress about, but look forward to every year! It’s so fun to have the collection to look back on (take a look at some of my favorites from over the years below). Now we just need to carve pumpkins (and then swiftly move on to all things Christmas! Just kidding, but only kind of). It stays so warm here that carving too early in October means you’ll end up with a moldy mush to clean up in a matter of days so I actually haven’t carved a pumpkin in years, but I thought it would be something fun to do with Levi this year when he might actually be able to participate and appreciate it. Although the days keep ticking by and we haven’t had the chance yet and when I’ve mentioned it, he doesn’t seem to feel one way or the other about it. We put so much pressure on ourselves to make holidays magical and do “all the things”, so I’m also trying to remind myself that if we don’t get to it, that’s okay too!
