Patriotic Charcuterie Board

I never like to show up empty handed when someone is hosting, whether it’s a dinner party or a playdate. Over Memorial Day weekend, we were invited to a playdate with a couple of Levi’s friends from school and while I usually love to bake something to bring, I didn’t quite have the energy. I came across this idea to throw together a flag inspired charcuterie board and thought it would be perfect! It’s impactful and on theme (which I love), but really easy to put together and great for both kids and adults. I kept it easy with strawberries and raspberries for my reds, bananas, cheese and crackers for my whites and blueberries for the blue (with the same cheese, but cut out like stars with cookie cutters). But there are so many variations you can do! I will say, if you’re using a white tray like I did (I used this white lacquered tray), the smartest decision I made was to add a layer of parchment paper underneath to prevent the berries from staining. Perfect for all your star-spangled events!
